Homemade Banana Bread

The other day my husband told me that he really is loving all this ‘blogging stuff’ I’m doing because he gets lovely homemade goodies (ok maybe ‘lovely homemade goodies’ weren’t his exact words).

At that exact moment it just so happened that I had 2 overripe bananas staring at me and I felt a slight glimmer of hope when I saw a box of eggs in the fridge (turns out there was only one in the box but luckily that was all I needed). I loaded up Google and found this Banana Bread Recipe on the All Recipes website.

Who doesn’t love banana bread?! Actually there is only one person I can think of who doesn’t love banana bread as she doesn’t eat fruit. Yes, I said fruit. Not pointing fingers or anything but Lizzie you don’t know what you are missing out on!

Eight ingredients and a three step method, what could possibly go wrong? I added some leftover pecan nuts for a bit of texture and bobs your uncle. My inner Domestic Goddess strikes again!

I might try out these yummy looking chocolate brownies that I spotted on littlelifeofrachel next or if anyone has a great recipe for me to try just post a link to your blog in the comments and I’ll check it out.

Funny you say that, my husband told me the exact same thing today! Haha 😂 I love banana bread, I always have ripe bananas at home so it’s a great way to use them!
